AR explores the way of drawing parallels between the depicted objects and other images or concepts based on visual similarities. As the human psyche tends to seek completion and clarity, it is unlikely that the viewer perceives the observed piece literally as it is. In the eye of the spectator, the elements in the picture gain subjective meaning and transform into something else. However, a closer look at the work reveals each object’s size, tone, and texture clearly indicating its factual nature. Thus, the viewer is being tricked by their own perception that is rooted in imagination, personal associations, cliches, visual references, and the like.

The series was exhibited at the 48 HRS Neukölln Art Festival (Berlin, Germany) in June 2021.
